Title: Utilising CTI 150™ UHPC for Waterproof Material Reception Hall and Storage Bunkers

TGEM, a leading renewable energy startup, is set to revolutionise its construction approach by incorporating CTI 150™ Ultra High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) into the design and construction of its Material Reception Hall and Storage Bunkers. This innovative solution aims to ensure zero moisture ingress or any form of liquid penetration into the water table, guaranteeing long-term structural integrity and environmental sustainability.

CTI 150™ UHPC is a tailor-made concrete solution specifically designed to work seamlessly with local raw materials. Unlike traditional concrete, which relies on coarse aggregates, CTI 150™ utilises a unique premixed compound that constitutes only 25 percent of the final product's volume. By sourcing all other constituents locally, the need to ship large volumes of materials around the world is eliminated, reducing transportation costs and carbon footprint.

The exceptional characteristics of CTI 150™ are achieved through a combination of innovative techniques. Firstly, homogeneity encasement is achieved by eliminating coarse aggregates in the matrix, resulting in a denser and more compact material. This density encasement is further optimised by maximising packing density, ensuring minimal pore communication within the structure.

Moreover, ductility enhancement is achieved through the introduction of high-performance fibres into the UHPC mix. These fibres not only improve the material's flexibility but also enhance its resistance to cracking and structural damage. As a result, structures made with CTI 150™ exhibit superior durability and longevity, even in harsh environmental conditions.

One of the key benefits of CTI 150™ UHPC is its exceptional corrosion resistance, even when exposed to aggressive environments. The low permeability of the material, combined with discontinuous fibre reinforcement, ensures that moisture and corrosive elements are effectively repelled, minimising the risk of structural degradation over time.

By incorporating CTI 150™ UHPC into the construction of its Material Reception Hall and Storage Bunkers, TGEM demonstrates its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and quality. This advanced concrete solution not only ensures the long-term integrity of the infrastructure but also contributes to the overall environmental resilience of the project.

In conclusion, CTI 150™ UHPC offers a cutting-edge solution for waterproof construction, providing unmatched durability, corrosion resistance, and environmental sustainability. Through strategic integration into its construction projects, TGEM sets a new standard for excellence in the renewable energy sector, driving forward the adoption of innovative and environmentally responsible building materials.

We can provide a fully verifiable 100% landfill diversion for all your waste, returning it to industry and agriculture, either as new materials or as sustainable energy.

Our unique network of transfer stations, landfill sites and state-of-the-art recycling facilities enables us to deliver tailored waste solutions, meeting the highest environmental goals and service standards.

Enva - SRF supplier.

Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF)

We produce and supply two types of fuels for cement kilns in the form of Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) and Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF). Both are produced via the waste cycle and are a perfect example of resource recovery in action. Producing lower carbon emissions than landfill, and with the markets growing significantly in recent years, Enva is leading the way in developing technology to further improve the quality of these products for use in their end markets.

What's the difference between SRF and RDF fuels?

Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) is a high quality product made from residual waste left behind once all commodities and contaminants have been removed. These fibres and fragments of paper, plastics, wood and textiles have high calorific value, low moisture and low chlorine content - a great fossil fuel replacement.

Proven – Technology partner.

Pyrolysis

It offers an environmentally friendly and ideal circular solution for your non-recycled waste or biomass streams. It is one of the essential solutions for reducing carbon emissions and their sequestration.

The Process

Pyrolysis is a process which consists of heating at high temperature (between 600 and 900°C in the oxidation chamber, from 500 to 850°C in the oven) and in an atmosphere deprived of oxygen, so that the substances generated under the influence of temperature do not ignite spontaneously. It thermally decomposes waste by capturing carbon, while reducing Co 2 emissions, which makes it possible to recover them subsequently. Pyrolysis allows you to recover on one side a syngas with a high energy power and on the other side a carbon rich Char.
